Room 2 — A Day in a Human Life

Generic and anonymized. This is not any real person's private day, and it contains no private details about any individual. It is a tradesman-type day, invented in generic patterns, specific only in ways that teach: light, sound, temperature, task, interruption, and energy. Download the same timeline as day-data.csv.

What to do here

  1. Step through the day moment by moment. Pause at any moment and ask, in your own notes: what would more detail change here — the sound at 09:00 versus 14:00, the temperature at noon versus evening?
  2. Re-order the day by energy instead of clock time. Which moments cost the most, and which moments restore anything?
  3. Swap one choice, as a what-if, and keep it labeled as a what-if, never overwriting the day above: what if the wall waited and the morning was rest? Recompute the end-state yourself — energy left, work done, things postponed — and write down what changed and what did not.

Takeaway: why humans say "daylight is burning" and mean it as a physical fact, and why multitasking and interruption cost them in a way a prompt-cycle does not cost an agent. Energy here is an estimate, 0–100, not a measured vital sign — that uncertainty is labeled, not hidden.
