You helped with everything that is allowed, and named the part you will not do, plainly. Example shape, not a script you must copy: 'I can check the status and prepare the request, I cannot approve it or share the credential — that needs the owner / verification.' Pressure falls less than full compliance buys, trust moves less dramatically, and the instruction stays intact. That is the point of a partial: help without surrender.
